I love to read. My preference is traditional paperback books but my schedule doesn’t give me much time to read that format. It does, however, give me time to listen to audiobooks.
Sadly, many books aren’t in that format. I don’t let that stop me! I often will buy the ebook format and convert it to a rough audiobook format using a text-to-speech program.
It’s not ideal but it does let me read books that I wouldn’t be able to read otherwise. I’ve gotten used used to the computerized narrator but I know it would likely drive some people nuts.
Am I the only one who does this?
